Girls Camp 2009

Thank you to Sister Morgan, Sister Slezak, & Sister Hosier for being fabulous camp leaders this year!

Trying to figure out a spot that would be the least hazardous in case of a flood.

Every ward quickly designed a modest dress from paper towels. Ours just happened to be the best!

Kairsti is modeling a "Phil O. Fallon" original from the summer paper towel camp line. Proving that white is the new black, Kairsti's dress is accented in sky blue, reminding everyone of what storm-free days look like (in case they forgot). Her tea length frock is gathered and ruffled to draw attention away from her mosquito-ravished legs. Her train adds a touch of simple elegance in the wilderness and the matching blue sneakers keep her grounded (even in the mud). The fitted bodice is accented with a Missouri wild flower, while the blue camisole not only adds modesty to the neck line, but also serves to cover-up any unsightly tick bites. However, every girl knows the key to fashion is accessorize, accessorize, accessorize.

Pizza!

Kami gave a great devotional!

The Young Women leaders enjoyed visiting for the day.

  1. Love Kairsti's stylish dress. What I'm a little confused about is, what is all over Layni and Kairsti's arms? It looks like Layni has a tatoo and Kairsti has love notes written all over. What's up with that?

  2. Layni did her art on the picnic table last year and this year she decided to literally keep it to herself and do it all over her arms. I have no idea why Kairsti decided not to use paper and write all over herself. You would think that these girls haven't ever used a marker before.
